YOUR PERSONALITY IS THE STAR
I like you for you! Stiff, awkward poses aren't in my vocabulary, and, since many seniors have never done this before, I'll certainly help you along the way. What I'm looking for is your real laughter, your genuine smile, and light in your eyes. And if you're more reserved, we'll keep things soft and quiet. But if you want to run through a field or dance in the rain in the street, by all means, let's do it. I'm all about showcasing your best self in the most genuine way possible to make sure you receive images that you love.
CAPTURING THE FUN STUFF IS THE BEST
You're having portraits done for a reason, right? So you can bet I'm going to capture what makes you unique. Wanna hike? Let's do it! Is your favorite pastime spent with piglets? Let's feature them in your photos! Are bright colors your thing? I so dig it! Does zebra print make you weak in the knees? Bring it on! Is football your first love? Let's make an ode to it in photos. Yeah, I love the fun stuff, big time.
I CARE
I want this to be an easy experience for you. I believe in good communication and simple steps so you don't have to stress. Need location ideas? I've got 'em! Searching for a good outfit? I can refer you to some great examples! Worried about your skin freaking out on you the day of your session? My natural retouching has you covered. This session is about you - and I want to do everything I can to make sure my photography and my service reflects that. And I'll keep on doing that after your session too.
ALL SESSIONS ARE CREATED EQUAL
Whether your session is on the side of a dramatically craggy cliff or we're hanging out in your backyard garden, in my opinion, neither location "outranks" the other. What's important to me is YOU. Your location is all just icing on the cake, so to speak. I, of course, enjoy documenting your choice of place, too, because that's also part of the story of your session, but my main focus is always you.
I'VE DONE THIS...A LOT
Chances are, this might be your first time getting professional photos. (And if it's not, that's cool too!) So it's a huge plus that I've got more than a few of these senior sessions under my belt (read: I've been doing this for over 11 years).
